Alf specializes in employment law and general property law. He also operates in the areas of collective agreements and employee co-determination councils. Alf follows a clear and pragmatic approach to resolve disputes. In his practice, he assists businesses, individuals, trade unions, and also works councils.
He is a lecturer at the Grotius Employment Law Course, the Groninger Employment Law Course and the private law department of the University of Amsterdam. He works as an author with Kluwer (flexible employment relations) and Sdu (property law / employment law), among other things.
Alf is a partner at and co-founder of Pact advocaten (2014). He has been a lawyer since 2007. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2008, he worked at the University of Amsterdam, where he lectured and conducted PhD research into the interface between employment law and general property law. He started his career as a lawyer at Allen & Overy.
Alf is registered with the Dutch Bar Association as an employment law specialist.
