Employment law is human rights law to her. Lorraine provides legal advice and litigates in the area of employment law in a broad sense, including dismissal procedures, employment and management agreements, business relations and non-solicitation clauses and employee participation.
Lorraine has been a lawyer at Pact Advocaten since 2019 and is registered with the Dutch Bar Association as an employment law specialist. Before Lorraine started working at Pact Advocaten, she gained experience at various law firms in the Netherlands and Curaçao. Her clients are employees, employers, entrepreneurs and works councils.
Since 2021, Lorraine has been a member of AIJA, the international association for young lawyers, a global network for lawyers.
In addition to her work as a lawyer, Lorraine is an author for Wolters Kluwer for the online publication in the field of flexible employment relations. Lorraine is also an active lawyer volunteer for the foundation Lawyers for Lawyers (L4L). This nonprofit organisation is committed to upholding a free and independent legal profession and supports lawyers worldwide who are threatened or prosecuted because of their work.
